Our latest round of testimonial filming took place this week at St. Andrew’s, the home of EFL Championship side, Birmingham City. As the club prepared for the upcoming football season our film crew were granted access to the stadium and the staff for the testimonial filming.
This time the subject was Chris Brewerton, business development manager at Birmingham who talked about his experience in being a member of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce as well as the club’s involvement in the business community in Birmingham.
The purpose of using a business like a professional football club is to show that members of the Chamber can be businesses of all types and to prove that something as unique as a football club can still use the Chamber’s services and connect with the business community. This addresses some of the key issues that the Chamber faces in attracting new members and some of the preconceptions that are linked to the Chamber of Commerce. This series of testimonial filming and the subsequent video marketing campaign is looking to dispel the old fashioned stereotypes and ideas that may be proving a barrier to businesses coming on board as members.
