Our production team are working on a Sport Birmingham video production project focused on running and jogging in the city. The Run Birmingham initiative is aimed at encouraging people in Birmingham to take up running or jogging as an exercise, regardless of fitness level or experience.
Even though it is a Run Birmingham video production, our brief is to focus on particular target audiences within the Run Birmingham programme. Firstly is the This Mum Runs initiative which focuses on women who may feel that they don’t have the time to go running. Our brief is to follow a similar style to the Sport England campaign, This Girl Can, and to inspire mums of all ages to take up running around their busy schedule. We have interviewed many mums who have taken up running for a series of case study videos as well as filming their involvement in the organised runs from the warm up to the actual running circuit itself.

The second element of the Run Birmingham video production is to focus on men from the BME community in the city. This again involved filming specific sessions to capture the target group and to interview the participants for case study videos. Run Birmingham sessions have been filmed at Edgbaston Reservoir and Handsworth Park as well as the filming of the run leaders in Acocks Green.
Having worked with Sport Birmingham on many of their projects, our production team have worked with them to help create the promotional videos that they need to reach their target audiences.
