CMA Video marketing manager, Adam Snelleksz presented a workshop this week for Solihull Chamber of Commerce on video marketing and how videos can and should be used as marketing tools. Adam’s presentation featured insights into what makes a good marketing video including some of the key things to consider and include such as looking at your target audience, making sure the content is what your viewer wants to see and considering the channels that you intend to use and distribute the video on. The overall video marketing offering includes input from CMA Video marketing manager Adam as well as the the company’s creative director, Mitchell Remes and details of the types of things that we consider to be key factors when producing a video.
Some of the videos that were featured and critiqued in the presentation included the 2015 John Lewis Christmas advert, Star Wars trailer, Hollister clothing and Blendtec. The presentation was also interactive with delegates asking questions and offering opinions on some of the videos and topics being covered.
